One day I was sat staring into the mirror and I asked myself who am I? I couldn't even utter a simple word and all of a sudden, all the mistakes and successes I made in life all came rushing back and hence, I just took a pen and paper and began writing it all out

How they discovered their passion for poetry and word art:

one day I was scrolling through TikTok and I came across a poet. The poems she writes are a manifestation of her true raw emotions captivating even to the deaf. Since then, I slowly began writing my own poems expressing my own raw emotions

1. "The Spoken Words Contest Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star Talent Hunt, a product of BTechnologies Enterprises LTD. An Organization acting in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Spoken Words Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Spoken Words Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Golden Luxe Plaque and a Monetary award of KSh120,000 (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of KSh20,000 (Twenty Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of KSh10,000 (Ten Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

5. Winners of "The Spoken Words Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is KSh20 (Twenty Kenyan Shillings only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://sageatwordske.com/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Spoken Words Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "The Spoken Words Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.
