Poem Title:

When love says goodbye

Poem Theme:

It's centered on the harsh reality when love exists your life and the deep feelings and emotions in a mixed way that come with it.

Poem Inspiration:

When the love of my life recently departed from my life then the reality hit harshly of how everything can change, sometimes not in a harsh way like a storm but silently yet cutting deeply. I got inspired to write a poem about it since poetry is my way of coming to terms with harsh reality.

How long have they been writing poems:

It's been 4 years now, after discovering that writing poems really relieves my soul.

How they discovered their passion for poetry and word art:

I started writing random notes when I would feel overwhelmed with school, work, responsibilities and life generally. My friends commended me on how deep I wrote and even started using my works. I then decided to do it seriously and more often. I've realised it calms my soul.

1. "The Spoken Words Contest Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star Talent Hunt, a product of BTechnologies Enterprises LTD. An Organization acting in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Spoken Words Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Spoken Words Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Golden Luxe Plaque and a Monetary award of KSh120,000 (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of KSh20,000 (Twenty Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of KSh10,000 (Ten Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

5. Winners of "The Spoken Words Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is KSh20 (Twenty Kenyan Shillings only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://sageatwordske.com/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Spoken Words Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "The Spoken Words Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.
